GMPC, ISO 22716 & Cosmetic Testing

Our Guangzhou factory holds: ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics GMP (certificate BMCG0126009S), GMPc (US) 2022 (certificate BMCGMPC0126009S) — both issued by Benchmarks Certification & Testing (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., initially certified 31 March 2026 and valid until 30 March 2029 — and a Halal Certificate issued by Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service (certificate SGH8602126VII0222, valid to 20 July 2027). Our certified scope covers general liquid production (hair care cleansing, skin care water, gel) and cream/emulsion production (skin care cleansing, hair care), including eye-care skincare and skincare for babies and children. Our Malaysia plant holds GMP certification. We also supply MSDS, COA and free sale certificates with every order. Copies of all certificates are available on request.

Four checkpoints: (1) incoming raw material and packaging inspection against specification with supplier COA verification; (2) in-process control during mixing — appearance, pH, viscosity, active content; (3) filling line checks — fill weight, seal integrity, label position, batch coding; (4) finished goods release — full appearance, physical-chemical and microbiological testing before the batch is allowed to ship. Retention samples are kept for the full shelf life.

Yes. Standard accelerated stability is 3 months at 45°C plus room temperature, 4°C, freeze-thaw cycling, centrifuge and light exposure, with pH, viscosity, colour, odour and separation checked at each interval. Real-time stability runs in parallel for the full claimed shelf life. Stability data is available to you for registration purposes.

Yes. Every batch is tested for total aerobic microbial count, yeast and mould, and specified pathogens (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, C. albicans, E. coli). We also run preservative efficacy (challenge) testing on new formulas per ISO 11930, and heavy metal testing (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium) where the market or the customer requires it.

Standard products carry a 3-year shelf life unopened. Patch-type products such as hydrocolloid acne patches carry 5 years. We recommend a PAO (period after opening) of 6 months. The exact shelf life is stated on the COA for each batch.

No. We do not test any of our products or ingredients on animals, and we can supply a signed non-animal-testing declaration for your cruelty-free certification or retailer requirements.

Yes — a COA accompanies every production batch, giving batch number, manufacturing and expiry date, appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, specific gravity where relevant, and microbiological results against specification.

Report it to us with the batch number, photos and a retained sample. We pull our retention sample and batch records for the same batch and investigate. If the fault originated at our factory, we stand behind it and will replace the affected goods or issue a credit. Where the problem is caused by storage or transport conditions outside our control — for example a container left in the sun for weeks at a port — we discuss a fair solution with you case by case.

Yes. Our products are guaranteed for the full stated shelf life under proper storage conditions (cool, dry, out of direct sunlight). Within that period, any defect originating in manufacturing is our responsibility. Storage and transport outside those conditions can affect the product, so please confirm your logistics chain with us for heat-sensitive formulas.

Yes, on request. Full batch manufacturing records are available for audit, and we retain samples of every batch for the whole shelf life. This is often required during EU or FDA-related audits of your supply chain.

Yes, immediately and without conditions. We will send our business licence, ISO 22716:2007 certificate (BMCG0126009S), GMPc (US) 2022 certificate (BMCGMPC0126009S) and Halal Certificate (SGH8602126VII0222). The GMP certificates can be verified independently on the issuing body's website at benchmarks.cc, and the halal certificate carries a QR code for verification. Any manufacturer who hesitates to send certificates before an order should concern you.
