Free Samples & Sample Fee
| Yes. Up to 3 standard samples from our existing catalogue are free of charge — you only pay the courier cost. For customised samples the fee is USD 30 per item, and this fee is credited back against your first mass-production order. Simple adjustments to a formula you already own are free of charge; a formula developed completely to your specification is quoted separately. |
| The courier cost is on the buyer's side. You can either send us your DHL / FedEx / UPS collect account number, or we will quote the freight and ship once it is settled. Samples usually arrive within 3–7 working days worldwide. |
| Standard catalogue samples are dispatched within 3–5 working days of confirmation. Customised samples normally take 7–15 working days to develop, and a completely new formula developed from a brief can take 15–30 working days depending on complexity. |
| Yes, mixed samples are welcome. Many customers ask for one sample from several categories at once so they can compare textures before deciding on a line. Just send us the list of items you want. |
| For pre-production samples we normally use plain/neutral packaging so you can evaluate the formula first. Once the formula and packaging are confirmed, we produce a **pre-production sample (PPS)** with your real artwork applied, for final written approval before mass production starts. |
| Three rounds of adjustment are included. In practice most projects settle within 2–3 rounds. If the brief changes direction completely (different actives, different claim, different texture family) it is treated as a new development. |
| The more precise your brief, the fewer rounds we need. Please tell us: (1) target market and country, (2) product category and format, (3) the claim you want to make, (4) target texture and finish, (5) any ingredients you must include or must avoid, (6) reference product if you have one, (7) target retail price and target FOB price, (8) expected order quantity. A reference sample sent to us is worth a hundred emails. |
| Yes. We record the sample as a formal formula code and produce mass production against that record. Small natural variations in colour or fragrance intensity can occur between batches when natural extracts or plant oils are used — we will tell you in advance if your formula is sensitive in that way. |
| Absolutely, and we encourage it. We can also send you our own COA and test data for the same batch so you can cross-check. |
