Cosmetics OEM & ODM
We are a manufacturer. Guangzhou Beauty Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (organization code 91440111321111385Q) owns and operates its own GMPC and ISO 22716 certified production facility in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, with in-house R&D, filling lines, QC laboratory and warehouse. You are buying factory-direct — there is no middleman margin in our quotation.
Our factory is at 1 Tang Ge Industrial Square, Baiyunhu Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China — about 30 minutes by car from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN). Visitors are very welcome. Tell us your travel dates and we will arrange pick-up, a full production-line tour and a meeting with our R&D team.
Yes. We can arrange a live video walk-through of the workshop, filling lines, raw-material warehouse and QC lab at a time that suits your time zone. We can also send you our business licence, our GMPc (US) 2022 and ISO 22716:2007 certificates and our halal certificate, and connect you with a third-party inspection company (SGS, BV, TÜV or your own agent) for an independent audit.
We have over 20 years of experience in cosmetics R&D and OEM/ODM manufacturing, and we currently export to more than 40 countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Our facility runs 8 automatic filling lines covering liquids, gels, emulsions and creams, with a combined output of approximately 10,000 pieces per day. Capacity is allocated by production plan, so please confirm your delivery deadline at the time of order so we can reserve a slot for you.
Yes. We have a dedicated R&D centre with formulation chemists, a stability/incubation room, a microbiology lab and application testing. Our formula library currently contains 5,000+ mature, production-proven formulas across skincare, body care, hair care, baby care, lip care and colour cosmetics.
Yes. In addition to our Guangzhou plant we operate MYS Beauty Cosmetics Sdn. Bhd. in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia, which holds GMP certification. This gives our customers two options: China for R&D, the widest packaging choice, halal-certified production and the most competitive cost, or Malaysia for local ASEAN manufacturing and shorter shipping within the region.
Our regular customers include brand owners, distributors, pharmacy chains, salon and spa groups, supermarket private-label buyers, and Amazon / TikTok Shop / Shopee sellers in the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia), Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines), Russia, Africa and Latin America.
Contract manufacturing (OEM / ODM / private label) of skincare, body care, hair care, baby & mom care, lip care, eye care, hydrocolloid patches, soap and colour cosmetics — plus the full documentation and export support that lets you legally sell those products in your own market.
Yes — both, plus private label. We handle the entire chain: formula development, raw-material sourcing, packaging sourcing, artwork design, filling and production, quality control, export documentation and shipping. You can start at whichever stage suits you.
**Private label** – you take one of our existing finished products and put your brand on it. Fastest and cheapest way to launch. **ODM** – you start from one of our 5,000+ existing formulas and we adjust the texture, fragrance, colour, actives and packaging to fit your brand. **OEM** – the formula is developed from scratch (or supplied by you) and belongs to your project. Most control and differentiation, but the longest lead time and highest MOQ. Most new brands begin with private label or ODM and move to OEM once sales are proven.
Yes. Send us the full formula sheet (ingredient names + percentages + supplier grades if possible) and the manufacturing process. Our R&D team will review it for feasibility, raw-material availability and compliance in your target market, then produce a trial batch for your approval before mass production. We can sign an NDA before you send anything.
We can benchmark a reference product — meaning we analyse its texture, appearance, feel, pH and performance and develop our own formula that delivers a comparable user experience. Please send us a physical sample plus the ingredient list from the label. We do not copy patented technology or reproduce any third party's trademark, artwork or packaging design.
Facial serums, essences, toners, creams, lotions, gels, cleansers, cleansing balms and oils, sheet masks, clay masks, sunscreens, eye creams, eye masks, eyelash serums, lip balms and lip scrubs, shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, hair oils, hair colour, scalp treatments, body wash, body lotion, body butter, body scrub, hand and foot care, baby care, soap, hydrocolloid patches, and colour cosmetics. If a product is not on the list, ask — it is often still within our capability.
Yes, and we recommend it. A coordinated set — for example cleanser, toner, serum, cream and mask built on the same active concept — increases average order value for your customers and lets us share raw materials across SKUs, which usually improves your unit cost. We can also match texture, colour and fragrance across the whole line so it feels like one family.
Yes. Our Skincare Starter Kit programme is designed for new brands: existing proven formulas, in-stock packaging, low MOQ and short lead time, so you can validate the market before investing in custom moulds and custom formulas. Ask our sales team for the current starter kit list.
Yes. Our processing trade manual procedures are complete, so we can legally receive customer-supplied bulk, raw materials or packaging from overseas, process or fill them here, and re-export the finished goods. This suits brands that already own a specific raw material or packaging supply chain.
Yes. We can supply bulk in drums or pails for customers who fill locally. Please tell us your market, the filling equipment you use and your storage conditions, so we can adjust preservative system and packing accordingly.
Free Samples & Sample Fee
Yes. Up to 3 standard samples from our existing catalogue are free of charge — you only pay the courier cost. For customised samples the fee is USD 30 per item, and this fee is credited back against your first mass-production order. Simple adjustments to a formula you already own are free of charge; a formula developed completely to your specification is quoted separately.
The courier cost is on the buyer's side. You can either send us your DHL / FedEx / UPS collect account number, or we will quote the freight and ship once it is settled. Samples usually arrive within 3–7 working days worldwide.
Standard catalogue samples are dispatched within 3–5 working days of confirmation. Customised samples normally take 7–15 working days to develop, and a completely new formula developed from a brief can take 15–30 working days depending on complexity.
Yes, mixed samples are welcome. Many customers ask for one sample from several categories at once so they can compare textures before deciding on a line. Just send us the list of items you want.
For pre-production samples we normally use plain/neutral packaging so you can evaluate the formula first. Once the formula and packaging are confirmed, we produce a **pre-production sample (PPS)** with your real artwork applied, for final written approval before mass production starts.
Three rounds of adjustment are included. In practice most projects settle within 2–3 rounds. If the brief changes direction completely (different actives, different claim, different texture family) it is treated as a new development.
The more precise your brief, the fewer rounds we need. Please tell us: (1) target market and country, (2) product category and format, (3) the claim you want to make, (4) target texture and finish, (5) any ingredients you must include or must avoid, (6) reference product if you have one, (7) target retail price and target FOB price, (8) expected order quantity. A reference sample sent to us is worth a hundred emails.
Yes. We record the sample as a formal formula code and produce mass production against that record. Small natural variations in colour or fragrance intensity can occur between batches when natural extracts or plant oils are used — we will tell you in advance if your formula is sensitive in that way.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. We can also send you our own COA and test data for the same batch so you can cross-check.
Cosmetics OEM MOQ & Pricing
MOQ depends on the product type, formula, packaging and level of customisation. For standard products with in-stock packaging, MOQ starts from 500 units per SKU. Where the packaging itself is customised — for example a custom bottle colour or a custom tube colour — the minimum rises to 3,000 units per SKU, because colour matching has its own supplier minimum. Fully custom-moulded packaging starts from 10,000 units.
There are actually two MOQs behind every quotation: the **formula MOQ** (the smallest batch our mixing tanks can produce consistently) and the **packaging MOQ** (the smallest quantity the bottle, cap, pump, tube or printed carton supplier will accept). Your real MOQ is whichever is higher. This is why a serum in a stock 30ml dropper bottle can start at 500 pcs, while the same serum in a custom-moulded bottle may start at 10,000 pcs.
Per SKU. Each formula + each packaging size + each shade counts as a separate SKU. If you want three shades of the same lipstick, each shade normally has to reach its own minimum.
Yes — mixed orders are welcome and this is the usual way new brands start. You still need to meet the per-SKU minimum, but combining SKUs in one shipment reduces your freight cost per unit and often improves the price tier.
In some cases yes, for stock formulas with in-stock packaging. A below-MOQ trial order carries a higher unit price because setup, cleaning and changeover costs are spread over fewer units. Tell us the quantity you want and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible.
The MOQ itself is driven by supplier minimums rather than by loyalty, so it usually stays the same — but repeat orders are faster (formula and artwork are already approved) and we can often offer better pricing tiers or hold safety stock of your packaging for you.
Custom-moulded packaging starts at 10,000 pieces per component. A PET bottle mould costs approximately USD 1,000 and takes around 6 weeks to develop and test. It is the right move once your volume is proven; for a launch we usually recommend stock packaging with a custom colour (from 3,000 units) or distinctive label and carton printing — you get a strong shelf presence at a fraction of the investment.
Send us: product category and format, target market, quantity per SKU, packaging preference (stock or custom), any special actives or claims, artwork status, and your target price if you have one. With that we normally come back within 24–48 hours with a quotation, or with a short list of questions if something is unclear.
Our standard quotation is FOB Guangzhou / Shenzhen and includes: bulk formula, primary packaging, label printing and application, carton, filling and assembly, standard QC and export documents. It does not include international freight, insurance, import duty, local registration fees, custom mould fees, or third-party efficacy/clinical testing. We can also quote EXW, CIF, DAP or DDP if you prefer.
Almost always because the specification is not actually the same. Active concentration (2% niacinamide vs 10%), the grade and origin of the raw materials, the weight and wall thickness of the bottle, whether the pump is a normal pump or an airless system, the quality of printing, and whether stability and microbiological testing are included — all of these move the price. Ask every supplier for the full spec sheet, not just the number.
Possible one-time costs are: custom formula development beyond the included sample rounds, artwork adaptation for special printing, silk-screen or hot-stamping plate fees, custom mould fees, and third-party testing (SPF, efficacy, safety assessment) if your market requires it. All of these are quoted to you in advance — we do not add surprises to the invoice.
Our standard quotation validity is 30 days. Cosmetic raw materials and packaging resin prices move, so for longer projects we re-confirm before contract signing.
Often yes, if you tell us the target price at the beginning. We can reach a price point by adjusting packaging weight, fill size, active concentration or order quantity — but we will always tell you which lever we are pulling. We would rather lose an order than quietly downgrade a formula to hit a number.
Yes, significantly. Our price tiers step at 500, 1,000, 3,000 and 10,000 units per SKU. Ask us for a tiered quotation and you can see exactly where the steps are before you decide your order size.
No. Design is free. Our in-house design team will create your label and carton artwork, or adapt your existing brand assets to our dielines, at no charge for order customers. See our Design Free service page for details.
Custom Formula Development
Yes. Our R&D team develops customised formulas for different markets and claims — moisturising, whitening and brightening, anti-ageing and firming, anti-acne and oil control, barrier repair, soothing and sensitive skin, scalp and hair care, sun protection and more. Give us a concept and we will turn it into a manufacturable, compliant, stable product.
A modification of an existing formula usually takes 7–15 working days to first sample. A brand-new formula developed from a brief typically takes 15–30 working days to first sample, plus 4–12 weeks of stability testing if you want full data before launch. Complex systems — high-concentration vitamin C, retinol, sunscreen, anhydrous balms, colour matching — take longer.
It depends on the scope. Simple adjustments to a formula you already own are free. A formula developed completely to your specification is USD 200 per item. If you need a third-party stability test report to support registration or a retailer requirement, that is USD 300 per item. All of these are quoted before we start, and the customised sample fee is credited against your first production order.
A formula that you have paid us to develop belongs to you. We will not supply that formula to any other customer. Formulas taken from our existing 5,000+ standard library remain our property and may be used for other customers, unless you purchase exclusivity for a defined market.
Yes. Every customer receives a complete INCI list in descending order for labelling and registration purposes, plus MSDS and COA. Exact percentages of our proprietary base formulas are normally shared under NDA or with your registration authority / safety assessor directly, since that is the part that represents our R&D investment.
Yes — but the claim must be legal in your market. Some words permitted in Asia ("whitening") are restricted in the EU and the US, where "brightening" or "evens skin tone" is the safe wording. Tell us where you intend to sell and we will build the formula and the claim wording together so your label passes customs and platform review.
Yes to all of these. We do not test any of our products on animals. We can formulate vegan (no animal-derived ingredients), halal-compliant (no ethanol, no porcine or non-halal animal derivatives, halal-certified raw materials), alcohol-free, fragrance-free, essential-oil-free, silicone-free, sulphate-free, paraben-free, or to a specific retailer's restricted substance list. Tell us the standard you must meet and we will build to it.
Yes. Send us a physical reference sample — that is far more useful than a description. We can match texture and slip, colour, and fragrance profile (or source an equivalent fragrance oil from our perfume house partners). Note that an exact fragrance match is sometimes limited by IFRA restrictions and by allergen declaration rules in the EU.
Yes, and we check this routinely. We screen formulas against EU Regulation 1223/2009 annexes, US FDA and California Prop 65, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive, Indonesia BPOM, Saudi SFDA / GSO, and other market lists. If your market bans an ingredient in our standard formula, we substitute it before sampling rather than after your registration fails.
Yes — reformulation and troubleshooting is a regular part of our work. Send us the product and its ingredient list. Typical causes we investigate are surfactant system and total anionic load, preservative choice, pH drift, fragrance allergens, essential-oil or menthol content, and residual free formaldehyde from certain preservatives. We then rebuild the formula with a milder system and run a repeat-insult patch test if you want documented proof of the improvement.
Yes. Separation, colour drift, viscosity drop and phase inversion are almost always emulsifier system, electrolyte, or process-temperature issues. We can rebuild the emulsion system and run accelerated stability (45°C for 3 months, freeze-thaw cycling, centrifuge, and light exposure) to prove the fix before you commit to production.
More than 5,000 mature, production-proven formulas across all our categories. In most cases we can find something close to your concept in the library and adjust it — which is faster, cheaper and lower-risk than starting from zero.
Yes. We work with the full range of current actives — niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, tranexamic acid, vitamin C derivatives, retinol and retinal, bakuchiol, peptide complexes, ceramides, ectoin, hyaluronic acid of multiple molecular weights, centella asiatica, mugwort, bifida ferment lysate, fermented rice, salicylic acid, AHA/BHA/PHA and more. We will also tell you honestly when an active is more marketing than evidence, and what concentration is actually needed to support your claim.
Packaging & Private Label Design
We supply everything. Our quotation is normally for a finished, packed, labelled product ready to sell. We work with a large network of bottle, jar, tube, pump, airless, dropper, stick and carton suppliers in the Guangzhou area, which means fast sampling and low freight cost between suppliers.
Yes. You can ship your own bottles, tubes or cartons to our factory, or nominate a packaging supplier for us to buy from. We will inspect incoming components and run a compatibility check with the formula before filling. Please allow extra lead time for delivery and inspection, and send us samples in advance so we can confirm our filling lines can handle them.
No — design is free for order customers. Send us your logo, brand colours, any reference designs and your required legal text; our design team will produce print-ready artwork on our dielines. We will also check your label against the labelling rules of your target market (INCI order, net content, batch code, PAO symbol, warnings, responsible person address).
Print-ready AI, PDF or PSD in CMYK, with fonts outlined, images at 300 dpi or higher, and at least 3mm bleed. If you only have a JPG or a rough sketch, that is fine too — our designers will rebuild it properly.
Yes. A PET bottle mould costs approximately USD 1,000 and takes about 6 weeks to develop and test, with a minimum of 10,000 pieces per production run. More complex components — airless systems, custom pumps, multi-cavity moulds — cost more. If you are not ready for a mould, a custom colour on stock packaging from 3,000 units gives you a distinctive look at a much lower entry cost.
Custom colour matching (Pantone), frosted or matte finish, transparent, metallised, silk-screen printing, hot stamping, UV coating, soft-touch coating, embossing and debossing, shrink sleeves, and custom pumps or caps. These give a genuinely custom shelf presence without a mould investment.
Yes — PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic, mono-material recyclable packaging, refillable jars, aluminium, glass, bamboo caps, paper tubes, FSC-certified cartons, and reduced-plastic secondary packaging. Tell us which sustainability claim you want to make so we can supply the supporting certificates.
Yes — unit cartons, gift and set boxes, inserts, leaflets, shrink wrap, seals, and export shipping cartons with your marks. We can also apply barcodes, FBA labels and country-specific compliance marks during packing.
Final label content is approved by you in writing before printing. We check the technical parts we are responsible for (INCI accuracy, net content, batch and expiry format) and flag anything that looks non-compliant for your market, but the brand owner signs off on the final artwork. We never start printing without your written approval.
Yes, and this is a good strategy — a full size plus a travel/trial size drives sampling and gifting. Each size is a separate SKU with its own MOQ, but they share the same bulk formula, so the incremental cost is lower than launching a different product.
Manufacturing Lead Time
Once all packaging materials have arrived at our factory, production takes approximately 3 weeks. The variable is packaging, not production: simple in-stock packaging arrives quickly, while custom-printed tubes, custom-colour bottles or custom moulds add several weeks before production can start. We give you a packaging arrival date and a shipment date together in every proforma invoice, so you can see exactly where the time goes.
From the last of these three events: (1) deposit received in our account, (2) final artwork approved by you in writing, (3) all packaging components delivered to our factory. Production itself is about 3 weeks from that point. This is the single most common source of misunderstanding in our industry, so we state it in every proforma invoice.
1) You send your requirements → 2) our R&D proposes a suitable formula → 3) samples sent for evaluation → 4) formula and packaging confirmed → 5) formal quotation and proforma invoice → 6) contract signed → 7) deposit paid → 8) artwork finalised and packaging produced → 9) mass production and in-process QC → 10) pre-shipment inspection and your approval → 11) balance paid → 12) shipment and export documents delivered.
In order of frequency: late artwork approval, late packaging delivery from a customer-nominated supplier, changes to the formula after production has been scheduled, and target-market registration not being ready. Chinese public holidays also matter — Chinese New Year (usually late January to February) and the October National Day week suspend production for 1–3 weeks, so plan around them.
Sometimes, for stock formulas with in-stock packaging. Tell us your hard deadline at the enquiry stage rather than after the order is placed — the earlier we know, the more options we have to reserve line time and materials. A rush order may carry an expediting fee.
Yes. We send photos and short videos at key milestones — bulk mixing, first-article filling, labelling and cartoning — so you can see your product taking shape and catch any issue while it is still cheap to fix.
Yes, and we welcome it. SGS, BV, Intertek, TÜV or your own agent may inspect at our factory. We will provide production schedule, batch records and samples for their inspection.
Cosmetic filling always produces a small over- or under-run. Our contract tolerance is ±5% on the ordered quantity, invoiced on the actual shipped quantity.
Yes, for repeat customers. We store your packaging materials free of charge for 90 days and finished goods free of charge for 30 days, then release partial shipments against your schedule. Storage beyond those periods may carry a warehousing fee. We always ship the oldest batch first so your shelf life is protected.
GMPC, ISO 22716 & Cosmetic Testing
Our Guangzhou factory holds: ISO 22716:2007 Cosmetics GMP (certificate BMCG0126009S), GMPc (US) 2022 (certificate BMCGMPC0126009S) — both issued by Benchmarks Certification & Testing (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., initially certified 31 March 2026 and valid until 30 March 2029 — and a Halal Certificate issued by Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service (certificate SGH8602126VII0222, valid to 20 July 2027). Our certified scope covers general liquid production (hair care cleansing, skin care water, gel) and cream/emulsion production (skin care cleansing, hair care), including eye-care skincare and skincare for babies and children. Our Malaysia plant holds GMP certification. We also supply MSDS, COA and free sale certificates with every order. Copies of all certificates are available on request.
Four checkpoints: (1) incoming raw material and packaging inspection against specification with supplier COA verification; (2) in-process control during mixing — appearance, pH, viscosity, active content; (3) filling line checks — fill weight, seal integrity, label position, batch coding; (4) finished goods release — full appearance, physical-chemical and microbiological testing before the batch is allowed to ship. Retention samples are kept for the full shelf life.
Yes. Standard accelerated stability is 3 months at 45°C plus room temperature, 4°C, freeze-thaw cycling, centrifuge and light exposure, with pH, viscosity, colour, odour and separation checked at each interval. Real-time stability runs in parallel for the full claimed shelf life. Stability data is available to you for registration purposes.
Yes. Every batch is tested for total aerobic microbial count, yeast and mould, and specified pathogens (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, C. albicans, E. coli). We also run preservative efficacy (challenge) testing on new formulas per ISO 11930, and heavy metal testing (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium) where the market or the customer requires it.
Standard products carry a 3-year shelf life unopened. Patch-type products such as hydrocolloid acne patches carry 5 years. We recommend a PAO (period after opening) of 6 months. The exact shelf life is stated on the COA for each batch.
No. We do not test any of our products or ingredients on animals, and we can supply a signed non-animal-testing declaration for your cruelty-free certification or retailer requirements.
Yes — a COA accompanies every production batch, giving batch number, manufacturing and expiry date, appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, specific gravity where relevant, and microbiological results against specification.
Report it to us with the batch number, photos and a retained sample. We pull our retention sample and batch records for the same batch and investigate. If the fault originated at our factory, we stand behind it and will replace the affected goods or issue a credit. Where the problem is caused by storage or transport conditions outside our control — for example a container left in the sun for weeks at a port — we discuss a fair solution with you case by case.
Yes. Our products are guaranteed for the full stated shelf life under proper storage conditions (cool, dry, out of direct sunlight). Within that period, any defect originating in manufacturing is our responsibility. Storage and transport outside those conditions can affect the product, so please confirm your logistics chain with us for heat-sensitive formulas.
Yes, on request. Full batch manufacturing records are available for audit, and we retain samples of every batch for the whole shelf life. This is often required during EU or FDA-related audits of your supply chain.
Yes, immediately and without conditions. We will send our business licence, ISO 22716:2007 certificate (BMCG0126009S), GMPc (US) 2022 certificate (BMCGMPC0126009S) and Halal Certificate (SGH8602126VII0222). The GMP certificates can be verified independently on the issuing body's website at benchmarks.cc, and the halal certificate carries a QR code for verification. Any manufacturer who hesitates to send certificates before an order should concern you.
Cosmetics Export Registration
As standard: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or air waybill, certificate of origin (Form A / FORM E / CO as applicable), MSDS/SDS, COA, full INCI ingredient list, free sale certificate, GMPC / ISO 22716 certificates and a non-animal-testing declaration. Additional documents for specific markets are available on request.
Yes, and it is free. We prepare a full English MSDS/SDS in 16-section GHS format for every product we manufacture, including transport classification for air and sea freight. See our MSDS Free service page.
Yes, more completely than most manufacturers. We can supply everything the process needs from the manufacturing side — full formula with percentages (sent under NDA directly to your safety assessor), raw-material specifications and COAs, GMP certificate, stability and challenge test data, and packaging compatibility data. We can also arrange an EU Responsible Person through our partner network if you do not have an EU entity. The CPNP notification is then submitted by the Responsible Person, and the CPSR safety report is signed by a qualified EU safety assessor.
Yes. Any cosmetic product placed on the EU market needs an EU-based Responsible Person, and the UK requires a separate UK Responsible Person, each with an address printed on the label. If you do not have your own EU or UK entity, we can arrange an EU Responsible Person and a US Agent through our partner network, so you are not blocked from launching while you set up locally.
Under MoCRA, the manufacturing facility must be registered with the FDA and each product must be listed, and a US Agent is required for foreign facilities. We can act through our partner network to arrange a US Agent for you, and we supply the facility information, full formula and safety substantiation data needed for your product listing. We can help submit all documents, and we have dedicated FDA filing assistants who are full-time staff of our factory. Note that in the US, sunscreens are regulated as OTC drugs, which is a different and stricter pathway.
We can arrange both through our partner network. A foreign facility selling into the US under MoCRA needs a US Agent, and any cosmetic placed on the EU or UK market needs a Responsible Person with an address printed on the label. Many new brands discover this requirement only after production is finished. Tell us your target markets at the enquiry stage and we will build the timeline and the label around them.
Yes. We provide the formula composition, manufacturing flow chart, GMP certificate, free sale certificate, specifications and COA, stability data and packaging artwork that BPOM requires, and we screen the formula in advance against Indonesia's banned and restricted ingredient list. We own a BPOM-qualified trading entity in Indonesia and can manage the full BPOM registration workflow on your behalf upon request. Importantly, our halal certificate is issued by Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service and is recognised by BPJPH (Halal Indonesia), which directly supports Indonesia's mandatory halal requirement for cosmetics. The BPOM registration itself must be held by an Indonesian legal entity — your local importer or a licensed registration agent.
Yes. We prepare the technical dossier for BSTI including English MSDS with formula percentages, ingredient composition table in descending order, manufacturing process, GMP and ISO certificates, free sale certificate, and label-ready INCI listing. We also remove any ingredient restricted under Bangladeshi rules before finalising the formula.
We regularly prepare documentation for Saudi SFDA and GSO conformity, Dubai Municipality product registration, Nigeria NAFDAC, Philippine FDA, Thai FDA, Vietnam MOH notification, Malaysia NPRA notification and India CDSCO. In every case the registration holder must be a local legal entity in that country; our role is to supply complete, accurate, audit-ready manufacturing documentation so your local agent's application is approved first time.
Yes, but sunscreen is the most regulated category in cosmetics and the rules differ sharply by market. The EU, ASEAN and Australia allow different UV filter lists from the US, where sunscreen is an OTC drug. SPF and UVA-PF must be measured by an accredited laboratory (ISO 24444 for SPF, ISO 24443 for UVA) on the exact final formula — an SPF number cannot be calculated or copied. Tell us your target market first and we will build the formula against the correct filter list.
Yes. We can provide a Certificate of Free Sale and have it legalised. CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) certification takes 7–10 working days; full consular legalisation by the destination country's embassy takes 15–45 days depending on the country. Please request it as early as possible — this is one of the most common causes of delayed customs clearance.
The importer or brand owner in the destination market is the legal registration holder in almost every jurisdiction — a Chinese manufacturer cannot hold a foreign product registration. What we do is supply complete and truthful technical documentation, and adapt the formula so it passes. We will tell you clearly at the enquiry stage what your market requires, so registration does not become a surprise after production.
Yes. We will build the label with the correct INCI naming and descending order, net content in the required unit, batch code and date format, PAO or expiry, warnings and precautions, allergen declarations for the EU, and space for your responsible person or importer address. You give final written approval before printing.
Halal Cosmetics Manufacturing
Yes. Our Guangzhou factory holds a Halal Certificate issued by Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service (certificate SGH8602126VII0222, valid to 20 July 2027) covering the cosmetics category for export. For halal production we use halal-certified raw materials, exclude ethanol and non-halal animal derivatives, and maintain segregated production and cleaning procedures. Our Malaysia plant holds GMP certification and its halal certification is currently in application.
Our halal certificate is issued by Shanghai Global Halal Certification Service and is accredited and recognised by BPJPH / Halal Indonesia, JAKIM (Malaysia), the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, and HVCS (Halal Certification Service Vietnam). That covers the four largest halal cosmetics markets in Southeast Asia. For Middle East markets the certificate is generally accepted alongside GSO conformity documentation; confirm the specific requirement with your importer.
Both plants are GMP certified. Guangzhou is our R&D and main manufacturing base — the widest formula library, the deepest packaging supply chain, the most competitive cost, and it is our halal-certified facility. Malaysia is our ASEAN production base, which shortens shipping within Southeast Asia and supports customers who need locally manufactured goods; its halal certification is in application. Today, customers who need halal cosmetics are served from Guangzhou.
Indonesia has been phasing in mandatory halal certification for consumer goods, with cosmetics obligations taking effect in October 2026. Our halal certificate is recognised by BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal, Indonesia), which means products manufactured under it are positioned for that requirement. If Indonesia is a core market for you, talk to us early — halal-compatible formulation decisions are much cheaper to make before development than after.
Yes. We routinely formulate without ethanol, and replace animal-derived ingredients (collagen, keratin, lanolin, beeswax, carmine, squalane of animal origin) with plant, marine-free or synthetic-biology alternatives that perform equally well. This suits halal, vegan and many clean-beauty positionings at the same time.
Our Malaysia plant has a MOQ of 2,000 units and a lead time of 6–8 weeks, reflecting local raw-material and packaging sourcing. For smaller quantities, shorter lead times or halal-certified production, our Guangzhou plant is currently the better choice.
Yes. We regularly export to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan, and can prepare GSO conformity documentation, Arabic labelling and Dubai Municipality registration support. Our halal certificate is also accredited by JAKIM (Malaysia) and the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, which is widely accepted across Muslim-majority markets.
Payment Terms & Shipping
Our standard terms are 30% deposit on order confirmation, with the 70% balance paid before shipment. For long-standing customers and for L/C at sight we can discuss alternative terms.
T/T (bank transfer), L/C at sight, Western Union. For first orders many customers prefer Trade Assurance or L/C for added security — we are comfortable with either.
Nansha Port and Huangpu Port in Guangzhou, and Shenzhen (Yantian / Shekou) when the schedule suits better. Air freight departs from Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN), Shenzhen (SZX) or Hong Kong (HKG).
Sea freight (FCL or LCL) for volume orders — the cheapest per unit, typically 20–40 days depending on destination. Air freight for urgent or lighter orders, 5–10 days. Express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS) for samples and very small shipments, 3–7 days. We can also arrange rail freight to Europe and Central Asia.
Yes. We can quote DDP with duties and taxes prepaid to most destinations, and we regularly ship directly into Amazon FBA warehouses in the US, UK, Germany and Japan with FNSKU labelling, carton labelling and Amazon-compliant packing applied at our factory.
Most water-based skincare is non-hazardous. However, products containing ethanol above certain concentrations, aerosols, nail products, and some fragrances and essential oils are classified as dangerous goods for air freight and need DG declaration and special packing, which increases cost and lead time. Our MSDS states the transport classification for every product, so there are no surprises at the airport.
Products are packed in export-grade cartons with inner protection sized to the product, palletised where appropriate, and shrink-wrapped. Cartons carry your marks, item code, quantity, gross and net weight and any required handling symbols. For fragile glass packaging we use reinforced inserts and can double-carton.
Yes. Our Guangzhou warehouse can receive goods from your other Chinese suppliers, consolidate them with your cosmetics order into one container and handle the export documentation. This significantly reduces freight cost when you are buying from several factories.
Yes, we handle Chinese export declaration and provide all documents needed for import clearance at your end. Import clearance, duties and local compliance are handled by you or your customs broker, since only a locally registered importer can do that.
Confidentiality IP & After-sales
Yes, gladly — before you send us any formula, brief or design. We can sign your NDA template or provide ours. Confidentiality is normal practice in contract manufacturing, and any manufacturer reluctant to sign one should worry you.
No. Formulas developed to your brief, and artwork or packaging designs created for your brand, are treated as yours and are not offered to other customers. Formulas taken from our standard library remain available to other customers unless you purchase exclusivity.
Exclusivity for a formula in a defined country or region can be arranged, normally tied to an annual minimum volume commitment. Tell us the market and the volume you can commit to and we will quote terms.
No. We are a contract manufacturer. Your customer list is yours, and we do not approach the buyers of our OEM clients or compete with our own customers under our own brand in their territory.
Batch documentation and COAs for as long as you need them, support during regulatory audits and registration renewals, formula updates when a market changes its rules, product photography and marketing material for your launch, technical answers for your customer service team, and priority scheduling on repeat orders.
Simply confirm the SKU, quantity and delivery date. The formula, artwork and packaging are already approved and on file, so repeat orders skip the sampling stage entirely. With simple in-stock packaging a repeat order ships in 3–4 weeks; with custom packaging allow 5–6 weeks.
Yes. We can provide product photography, ingredient and mechanism-of-action explanations, usage instructions, and claim substantiation summaries you can adapt for your website, Amazon listing and social media.
Yes. You or your appointed inspector are welcome at our factory during production, and we will schedule the visit around the filling date so there is something meaningful to see.
Email us at trade@gzliangzhuang.com or message +86 130 2881 0888 on WhatsApp / WeChat with: your product idea, target market, expected quantity and any reference product. You will get a real technical answer from a person, usually within 24 hours — not an automated brochure.
